Description: A skill that is the specialty of the Ookami Village. It is a unique skill that allows the user to hide themselves in a thick mist. The user can expel this jutsu either by raising water from the ground, or by expelling a mist from their mouth. They can then go in and out of this white mist, remaining unseen to their enemy. The mist is so thick that, some Dojutsu aren't even able to see through it.

Description: This is a skill that allows the user to create clones that are made out of water. They are very similar to shadow clones in their function, being able to act as a decoy or perform an act the user is incapable of doing themselves. Because the clone is made from water, they are able to utilize Water Style Destruction Magic to perform in battle. Like any clone, they will revert to water once they have been dealt enough damage. Unlike shadow clones however, if a water clone is too far from the user of this technique, the water clone will disperse back to normal water. The Hand Seal for this jutsu is the Tiger seal.

Effect: Create a water clone to be used for battle. This clone has 30 HP and can use Water Style Destruction Magic. The Qi for any jutsu the clone uses comes from the user's Qi pool. The user can create one Clone for every 5 Points in Destruction Magic. The user can pay 10 additional Qi to use this jutsu without a pre-existing water source. If the user does this, this additional Qi does not add to the Power of this jutsu.

Description: A Water Style Destruction Magic that allows the user to trap their enemy in an inescapable sphere of water. When their target is trapped inside, their target will be unable to move or breathe due to the density of the water. The only weakness to this technique is that the user must have one hand kept inside of the sphere at all times. The Hand Seals for this jutsu are: Snake → Ox → Clap Hands.

Effect: The user can pay 10 additional Qi to use this jutsu without a pre-existing water source. If the user does this, this additional Qi does not add to the Power of this jutsu.

Description: A Water Style Destruction Magic where the user will expel a sticky liquid from their mouth. This liquid is known as water sugar, a syrup that can be used to trap the user's enemy in place. This stream of syrup will cover a wide scope of the battlefield. If someone steps on the syrup field, they will become trapped in place by the stickiness of the jutsu. The user of the jutsu can use the Water Surface Jutsu to walk along the surface of the syrup trap with ease. The Hand Seals for this jutsu are: Ram → Tiger.

Effect: If someone steps onto the syrup trap, they will be unable to move. Everyone but the user and their allies must pay 5 Qi Per post to walk on the syrup, instead of 2.

This stream of gushing water washes their enemy away. By putting more Qi into the jutsu, the jutsu can be much more devastating. The Hand Seals for this jutsu are: Dragon → Tiger → Rabbit.

This shark can bite the enemy, causing severe damage like any normal shark. The user can also ride within the water of the shark, increasing their swimming speed. The Hand Seals for this jutsu are: Tiger → Ox → Dragon → Rabbit → Dog → Bird → Rat → Clone Seal → Dragon → Ram.

Effect: The user can pay 10 additional Qi to use this jutsu without a pre-existing water source. If the user does this, this additional Qi does not add to the Power of this jutsu. This skill causes Explosive Damage. When the attack lands, it causes an additional 25% of it's Damage to the surrounding area, damaging anyone caught within it's blast.

Description: A Water Style Destruction Magic that is derived from Water Style: Water Shark Bomb. If the user's enemy is trapped under water, the user will place their hands on the surface of the water and release five hungry sharks that will seek their target. Their shark teeth will tear the enemy into pieces. These sharks can also be used on land as individual attacking sharks. The Hand Seal for this jutsu is the Clap Hands.

Effect: Each shark does individual damage. Each shark is worth 5 Qi in Damage. The jutsu can do cumulative damage or individual damage. Each shark created has 10 HP. The user can pay 10 additional Qi to use this jutsu without a pre-existing water source. If the user does this, this additional Qi does not add to the Power of this jutsu.

Water Style: One-Thousand Feeding Sharks

This technique creates a tidal wave of hungry sharks to attack their enemy. One thousand sharks are formed together to form of huge wall of water sharks that rain down on the enemy. The Hand Seals for this jutsu are: Snake → Rabbit → Rat → Snake → Bird → Dragon → Snake.

Effect: The user can pay 20 additional Qi to use this jutsu without a pre-existing water source. If the user does this, this additional Qi does not add to the Power of this jutsu. This skill causes Explosive Damage. When the attack lands, it causes an additional 25% of it's Damage to the surrounding area, damaging anyone caught within it's blast.

With this skill, the user create a gigantic over-sized shark made out of Qi-infused water. By thrusting their hands forward, they release the giant water shark to attack their enemy. This water shark will tear anyone caught within it to pieces. This shark is able to absorb the Qi of another ninja's technique, making it grow larger and more powerful with it's size. The Hand Seals for this jutsu are: Clap → Snake → Technique Specific Seal.

Effect: This technique cannot be countered directly by any Destruction Magic. If countered by a Destruction Magic, this skill uses the Qi from their enemy to boost it's own damage. The user can pay 30 additional Qi to use this jutsu without a pre-existing water source. If the user does this, this additional Qi does not add to the Power of this jutsu. This skill causes Explosive Damage. When the attack lands, it causes an additional 25% of it's Damage to the surrounding area, damaging anyone caught within it's blast.

Description: A Water Style Destruction Magic that allows the user to create an existing source of water, for the sake of using more Water Style Destruction Magic. The user will spit a great volume of water from their mouth. This water forms waves upon waves of water that crash and collide everywhere, covering the entire field in water. The user of this jutsu can ride the waves. The amount of water created is proportionate to the user's amount of Qi. The Hand Seal for this jutsu is the Snake seal.

Effect: The user and their allies no longer have to pay additional Qi to use Water Style Destruction Magic. This jutsu does not cost additional Qi to use. This jutsu can also be used as an Offensive attack.

This jutsu is known for requiring a ridiculously large amount of hand seals. The Hand Seals for this jutsu are: Ox → Monkey → Rabbit → Rat → Boar → Bird → Ox → Horse → Bird → Rat → Tiger → Dog → Tiger → Snake → Ox → Ram → Snake → Boar → Ram → Rat → Yang Water → Monkey → Bird → Dragon → Bird → Ox → Horse → Ram → Tiger → Snake → Rat → Monkey → Rabbit → Boar → Dragon → Ram → Rat → Ox → Monkey → Bird → Yang Water → Rat → Boar → Bird.

These columns will quickly rise from a pre-existing source of water to attack the user's enemy. The user of this technique can create additional fangs of water to attack the enemy. The Hand Seal for this jutsu is the Tiger seal.

Effect: The user of this jutsu can create one water fang for every 5 Points in Destruction Magic. The user can pay 10 additional Qi to use this jutsu without a pre-existing water source. If the user does this, this additional Qi does not add to the Power of this jutsu.

This jutsu amasses a very large amount of water that is manipulated by the user. This water forms a vortex, circling around the user. This vortex will then rise up and fall down on the enemy, resembling a waterfall. This tremendous power can knock anyone down. The aftermath of the jutsu resembles a natural disaster. Because of the amount of Qi is needed to perform this jutsu, the user cannot create this jutsu without a pre-existing source of water. If skilled enough, the user can also use this skill by expelling it from their mouth. The Hand Seals for this jutsu are: Tiger → Ox → Monkey → Rabbit → Ram → Boar → Ox → Horse → Monkey → Tiger → Dog → Tiger → Snake → Tiger → Ox → Monkey → Rabbit → Bird.

Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu
Katon: Goukakyu no Jutsu

Description: The simplest of Fire Style Destruction Magic, and a technique that is used as a rite of passage in clans that utilize Fire Style. This is a skill that allows the user to convert Qi that is kneaded in the chest into a super heated massive flaming orb that is released from the mouth. The released flames will engulf the target and burn them. The Hand Seals for this jutsu are: Snake → Ram → Monkey → Boar → Horse → Tiger.

Effect: If the user is hit successfully, and your Destruction Magic Score is at least 2 points greater or lesser than your targets, the target will be inflicted with Burn. When a target is Burned, they will lose the user's Destruction Magic Score in Health.

The user can also increase the power of this skill by including shuriken in their attack. If the flames of their attack are blown away, the user will be able use their shuriken to launch a second attack within their first attack. The Hand Seals for this jutsu are: Rat → Tiger → Dog → Ox → Rabbit → Tiger.

Effect: Can hit multiple targets with skill. The user must pay an additional 2 Qi for each shuriken in their attack. This jutsu does not cause Burn.

Description: A unique form of Fire Style Destruction Magic that utilizes the String Reeling Jutsu. First, the user will bound their target to a tree, rock or another stable place. They will then send a massive line of fire across the wire or cord connecting the user and their target. This fire will be guided by the wire, burning to the upper body of the user's target. The Hand Seals for this jutsu are: Snake → Dragon → Rabbit → Tiger.

Effect: If the target is hit successfully, and your Destruction Magic Score is greater than your targets, the target will be inflicted with Burn. When a target is Burned, they will lose the user's Destruction Magic Score in Health.

This creates a large fire bomb that is projected towards the user's target. When the fire bomb is expelled, it will eventually explode in front of the target's face, causing additional damage. The Hand Seals for this jutsu are: Snake → Ram → Monkey → Boar → Horse → Tiger.

Effect: This skill causes Explosive Damage. When the attack lands, it causes an additional 25% of it's Damage to the surrounding area, damaging anyone caught within it's blast.

Effect: If the target is hit successfully, and your Destruction Magic Score is 5 points greater or lesser than your targets, the target will be inflicted with Burn. When a target is Burned, they will lose the user's Destruction Magic Score in Health. This skill causes Explosive Damage. When the attack lands, it causes an additional 25% of it's Damage to the surrounding area, damaging anyone caught within it's blast.

If the user is skilled, than can create a great fire attack that can reduce their enemies to ashes. The fire is so hot, that it can even produce thunder clouds. The Hand Seal for this jutsu is the Tiger seal.

Effect: If the target is hit successfully, and your Destruction Magic Score is greater than your targets, the target will be inflicted with Burn. When a target is Burned, they will lose the user's Destruction Magic Score in Health.

Fire Style: Majestic Fireball Jutsu

Description: A Fire Style Destruction Magic that is said to be so hot, that it can literally repel Water Style. The user kneads Qi that becomes super-heated while in the chest. The user will then release this fire in a massive fire ball that can burn the entire battlefield in just a few seconds. The Hand Seal for this jutsu is the Horse seal.

Effect: Can hit multiple targets with skill. Cannot be blocked by a single Water Style Destruction Magic. If the target is hit successfully, and your Destruction Magic Score is greater or lesser than your targets, the target will be inflicted with Burn. When a target is Burned, they will lose the user's Destruction Magic Score in Health. Dodging this jutsu raises your Dodging Rate by 10%.

For weapons, the jutsu is as simple as placing tools into scrolls and sealing them away. When the ninja needs the weapon, they can unravel the scroll to summon it. This method is similar with people. With animals, a special condition is required. Animal Contracts must first be made by signing a contract in blood. Once the contract is made, the ninja performs a string of hand seals to mold the Qi needed for the summon and then can summon any animal from the contracts location. The Hand Seals for this jutsu are: Boar → Dog → Bird → Monkey → Ram.

Effect: Can summon weapons, people or animals for battle. Depending on the size or Rank of the Summon, determines how much Qi is used to release the Jutsu. Summoning Contracts can be made by forging a contract in blood with an animal.

The clone or the user of the jutsu can disperse the jutsu at will. A unique quality of this jutsu is that when the clone disperses, all of the clones memories are instantly recorded into the user's memory.

Effect: A Destruction Magic Specialist can learn this jutsu with 5 Destruction Magic. For every 5 Points in Destruction Magic, the user can create a single clone. For a Destruction Magic Specialist, every 5 Points in Destruction Magic allows the user to create two clones. All clones have Health that is equal to the user's Destruction Magic. Each clone has the amount of clones divided by the cost in Qi for their Qi supply. This is based on the full amount, and not the user pays if they have a reduced cost. For example, the jutsu costs 50 Qi and the user can create two clones. This means each clone has 25 Qi. The clones can use this Qi to perform Jutsu. The clones disappear when they run out of Qi, or when the user no longer has any Qi. When the clones disperses before using all of their Qi, this Qi returns to the user. The user can also disperse the jutsu on their own and regain their Qi. The Hand Seal for this jutsu is the Clone Seal.

By absorbing a user's Qi, they can replenish their own however, everyone has a limit to how much Qi they can absorb. The user also has trouble absorbing Qi that isn't familiar with their own. Of course, the user must have their hands on a person for an extended period of time.

Effect: With normal methods, if your Martial Arts Score is great than someone else's, you can absorb their Qi by touching them. For every post you have them on hold, you can absorb your Destruction Magic Score in their Qi. You cannot absorb types of Qi that are foreign to you. Doing so, may cause negative effects on the user.

Description: A technique that is special to certain shinobi. Some shinobi have the innate ability to sense the Qi of other ninja. This skill allows a ninja to detect and track down another person through their unique Qi signature. Their range can be differ depending on the user's skill. The user is able to detect Qis that they are familiar with much swifter than those they are unfamiliar with. More importantly, the user is able to detect changes in one's Qi, such as the effects of Illusion Magic. This skill requires the user to focus greatly. The harder the user focuses, the greater they can detect where the Qi they are detecting is coming from. When the user use's this jutsu, they tend to have blood vessels reveal themselves on the top of their head, emphasizing the amount of focus the user must endure to sense Qi.

Effect: Allows the user to sense and detect Qis around them. With 10 Illusion Magic, they are able to detect all the Qis within a building. With 20 Illusion Magic, they can detect Qis within an entire village. With 30 Illusion Magic, they can detect a Qi from a great distance outside of their village. Of course, the general use of this jutsu is to detect multiple Qis within a single vicinity.

Effect: This jutsu works as an Offensive attack but does not deal damage. If the user is unable to avoid the shadow, they will be completely immobilized. If their score in Martial Arts is greater than your score in Destruction Magic, they will slowly be able to break free from the bind of the shadow. The user is able to extend their shadow over a long period of time, causing multiple attempts to catch their target.

Combining the methods of the Act of Tree Climbing and the Act of Water Surface Walking, the user is able to create a spinning ball of Qi. This spinning ball of Qi, when on impact, sends the enemy hurling away from them. This jutsu is known as the highest form of shape manipulation.

Effect: If the target's Martial Arts Score is lower than your Destruction Magic Score, they will be sent flying. When sent flying, they will lose an additional amount of Health from Explosive Damage. This skill causes Explosive Damage. When the attack lands, it causes an additional 25% of it's Damage to the surrounding area, damaging anyone caught within it's blast.

Description: A rare Destruction Magic utilized by certain ninja of the Shizua Village. The user is able to create an even larger version of the Rasengan by putting twice as much Qi than normal. This increases the size of the Rasengan as well as it's destructive power. The Rasengan itself is too large to be held in one's hand. Like the normal Rasengan, this jutsu does not require hand seals.

Effect: This skill automatically causes the target to be sent flying, dealing additional damage to the target's Health in Explosive Damage. This skill causes Explosive Damage. When the attack lands, it causes an additional 25% of it's Damage to the surrounding area, damaging anyone caught within it's blast.

By placing a Raijin Seal on a mark, the user is able to instantly teleport to anywhere their Raijin Seal is place. Shinobi who have mastered this jutsu are known as the fastest shinobi in the world, able to avoid any attack. The most common application of this jutsu, allows the user to use a special kunai to teleport where the kunai is thrown. This technique can also allow the user to teleport objects and other people. The Raijin Seal never disappears from wherever it is placed. The Hand Seal for this jutsu is the Seal of Confrontation.

Effect: Allows a ninja to avoid any attack that the skill is effective against. Allows a ninja to teleport instantly where-ever the kunai is thrown.

Effect: Create a clone made out of Ink. This clone has 1 HP and can utilize jutsu that require Ink. The amount of Clones the user can create however, is limited to  1.

They will then use their Qi to bring these images to life. These images can assist the user in different ways. The snakes can be used to bind their enemy.  The tigers can be used to attack their enemy. The rats can be used to gather intelligence. The bird can be used to fly around in the air, and avoid their enemy's attacks. The Hand Seal for this jutsu is the Seal of Confrontation.

Effect: Create ink drawings that come to life. These drawings can be used for multiple purposes.

Demons are another form of NPC that we use on the forum. More can be read about Wild Beasts and Demons here. This is the template for NPCs. There will be some additional rules for NPCs. You should only use this template to create a leader for your Clan or if you have receive an NPC as a reward. Your NPC will be seen as a tag along character for your Player Character. In terms of Clan Leaders, you will need to fight your Clan Leader if you want to be the head of your clan. You can request a Narrator for this fight.

Generally speaking, there may be some NPCs created by Staff just for the sake of progressing a Story Arc but, it is not required to make an NPC profile for every NPC you come across in a roleplay.

NPCs also cannot participate in Chunin Exams. NPCs do not need to General Train, Jutsu Train or Affinity Train. Instead, they can automatically acquire Jutsu and Affinity when they reach the Attribute requirements. They are not allowed to use Jutsu that are higher ranked than their rank in their Faction. For example, if they are a Genin, they are not allowed to use Jutsu that are higher than D-Rank.

Since they are not allowed to participate in Chunin Exams or any other form of rank up, when the Player Character they are attached to ranks up, so do they. They also automatically gain any requirements needed for that rank. When they acquire an Affinity, they automatically receive 100% Mastery in that Affinity. You won't need to train your NPC and unless stated otherwise, they will be able to use any jutsu their Player Character can use if they meet the requirements. They can also use any regular affinity that their Player Character can use.

NPCs can also go through character growth and development but, their main purpose is to serve their Player Character. They should be seen as servants or additional team mates to make quests and adventuring easier for you.

Item Rules

1. If you are making an item that a demon is sealed into, make sure to make the profile for the Demon first before making the item. It is also still required for your character to go on a quest to seal the Demon.

2. If you are making a scroll for a summoning contract, make sure to link all of the Wild Beasts, Lesser Demons or Great Demon that will be sealed into the scroll.

3. Try not to make any items too overpowered but, this template is mainly meant for people who sealed a High Demon into a medium.

4. General Items by default range between E to C-Rank. Village Items ranged between D to A-Rank. Clan Items range between C to A-Rank. Bloodline Items range between B to S-Rank. Signature Items are automatically A-Rank Items. Secret Items range between A and S-Rank.

5. There are also limits to what items characters can use based on their rank. Students are allowed to use items up to D-Rank. Genin are allowed to use items up to B-Rank. Chunin are allowed to use items up to A-Rank and Jounin are allowed to use items up to S-Rank. There are no limits to what items a Kage can use.

6. In-order to buy items, you will need to go to a village in a country that is within your respective Faction. For example, if your character belongs to the Ninja Village Faction and they currently reside within the Land of Birds, they can only but items from Fuuma Village. If they belong to the Syndicate and they currently reside within the Land of Tigers, they can only buy items from Ikazuchi Village. If they belong to the Imperials and currently reside within the Land of Monkeys, they can only buy items from Seijaku Village.

Rulebook / Specialization

Specialization


As one becomes more profound in their skills, they will take a liking to one style of combat over another. At some point, a character will be required to specialize, making a character an expert in their specific field of combat. Specialization simply means that your character will be a bit better at that style of combat when compared to another character that is not.

Specialization works as a character ranks up within a faction. As you become a higher ranked character in your faction, your specialization becomes more specific and narrowed down. Currently, these are all of the available Specializations for characters however, there is a chance that more Specializations will be available in the future. For now, these are all of the available Specializations.

By default, the Specialization are Martial Arts (Taijutsu), Destruction Magic (Ninjutsu), Illusion Magic (Genjutsu) and Weapon Skills (Bukijutsu).

Student

As a Student or "Academy Student", you just began your journey into the world of Shinobu. You won't be able to pick a Specialization at this rank but, you can also start thinking about what style of combat your character likes the most.

Genin

You are allowed to pick a Specialization but, it has to be one of the default Specializations. This includes Martial Arts, Destruction Magic, Illusion Magic or Weapons Skills. As your character Rank up, it will get a bit more complicated as things begin to break down. Once you pick your Specialization, your character will not be allowed to change. If your character has a Bloodline, then by default, their Specialization will be Bloodline Magic.

Chunin

As a Chunin, things will begin to get complicated. By this point, you have become an adult in your faction even if you aren't a legal one in your country. You will have access to information that would normally be off limits. This will mean that you will have more tools and the ability to experiment with Qi and thus, gives you access to a whole new level of power. This will also be the last time you will have to pick a Specialization.

Your character is allowed to pick a more specific Specialization however, they will still be counted and treated like their previous Specialization.

If your character chose Martial Arts, you will be allowed to pick a Martial Arts Fighting Style as a Specialization. You are allowed to stay a Martial Arts Specialist but, it is not highly advised. In the end, it's up to you to build your character and we leave a lot of room to imagination. If you choose to switch to a Fighting Style, then you will still be counted as a Martial Arts Specialist even with this new Fighting Style.

If your character chose Destruction Magic, they will be able to choose from a myriad of Specializations to further specialize into. This includes Non-Elemental Destruction Magic, Elemental Destruction Magic, Special Affinity Destruction Magic, Summoning Magic or Sealing Magic. Your character is still counted as a Destruction Magic Specialist.

If your character chose Illusion Magic, they will be able to choose to stay an Illusion Magic Specialist or to specialize in Healing Magic.

If your character chose Weapon Skills, they will be able to choose to stay a Weapon Skills specialist or to Specialize in Swordsmanship, Healing Magic or a Fighting Style.

After your character becomes a Chunin, this will be the end of your Specialization process. This is seen as a form of character evolution.
