The village is a tangled maze of wooden walkways and rickety bridges suspended over the murky swamp waters. Crumbling buildings, their foundations half-sunken into the marsh, house black-market traders, informants, and mercenaries for hire. The air is thick with humidity, carrying the scent of damp moss, burning incense, and the metallic tang of blood from unseen conflicts in the fog. Flickering lanterns cast eerie reflections on the water's surface, where more than just fish lurk beneath.
